1. Using Bruce

You must be 18 or older to use Bruce.

You agree to provide accurate information and use Bruce for lawful, professional purposes only.

You may not:

• Impersonate others
• Upload false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Misuse introductions or scrape data

Bruce may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Access to Bruce is by invitation only. Consumers may only join through approved businesses on the Bruce platform.

Bruce is intended for users aged 18 and older and does not knowingly collect information from minors.

2. Bruce Platinum Badge Program

The Bruce Platinum Badge recognizes businesses that have earned the highest level of trust within the Bruce network.

Eligibility

Only verified businesses that have completed The Bruce Pledge — a commitment to integrity, fairness, and accountability — and that display the Bruce Platinum Badge on their website (linked to their Bruce profile) are eligible.

Accountability

Participation in the Bruce Platinum program requires transparency, consistency, and honesty in service delivery. Bruce may review, suspend, or revoke Platinum status at any time to maintain platform integrity.

Badge Removal

Bruce may remove the Platinum Badge if:

• The business fails to uphold The Bruce Pledge
• The badge is misused, misrepresented, or displayed without authorization
• Continued participation could mislead users or harm trust

No Endorsement

The Bruce Platinum Badge signifies verified participation in Bruce's highest trust standard. It is not an endorsement or guarantee of performance, results, or quality.

3. Introductions and Matches

Bruce facilitates two types of introductions:

• Consumer introductions occur when a client requests help and a verified business agrees to connect.
• Business-to-business introductions are double opt-in — both companies confirm before the introduction is made.

Bruce does not guarantee matches or outcomes. Success depends on participation, network availability, and compatibility.

All introductions occur within Bruce's invite-only network — ensuring every connection starts from a trusted relationship.

4. AI Assistance

• Bruce uses AI to generate introductions, summaries, and recommendations.
• AI-generated text is for informational purposes and may not always be accurate.
• You acknowledge that Bruce is not liable for errors, interpretations, or decisions made based on AI-generated content.

5. Verified Reviews and Feedback

Reviews can only be submitted by:

• Users introduced through Bruce, or
• Users invited directly by a participating business.

Reviews reflect individual opinions, not Bruce's.

Bruce may display reviews publicly on business profiles.

You may hide or request removal of your review; hidden reviews remain in Bruce's private trust system for fairness.

Bruce may moderate or remove reviews violating laws or community standards.

6. Ownership and Content Rights

• You retain ownership of your content (profiles, messages, and reviews).
• By submitting, you grant Bruce permission to display and use it for platform functionality.
• Bruce owns all platform technology, branding, and AI-generated text.
• Unauthorized scraping, copying, or reuse of Bruce content is prohibited.

7. Privacy and Data

Your use of Bruce is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using Bruce, you consent to the practices described there.

We never sell or rent personal information.

Bruce complies with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

8. Disclaimers

• Bruce is provided "as is."
• We make no guarantees regarding match outcomes, user behavior, or third-party interactions.
• To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bruce is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Community Standards

Bruce is a trust-first platform. Users agree to:

• Engage respectfully
• Avoid spam, harassment, or abuse
• Provide truthful reviews and information

Violations may lead to suspension or termination.

10. Updates

• We may update these Terms occasionally.
• Changes will appear here with a revised "Last Updated" date.
• Continued use of Bruce after updates indicates acceptance.
