5. Introductions and Match Data

Bruce facilitates two types of introductions:

• Consumer introductions: A client requests help and a verified business agrees to connect.
• Business-to-business introductions: Both companies must confirm before the introduction is made.

Match metadata (like timing, preferences, and outcomes) helps improve fairness and efficiency.

All information is stored securely within Bruce and never shared externally.

6. Review System Policy

Who Can Leave a Review

Only verified users may leave reviews — those:

• Introduced through Bruce, or
• Directly invited by a business or organization.

This keeps reviews authentic and tied to real experiences.

How Reviews Are Used

• Reviews appear publicly on the intended profile.
• They represent the author's opinion, not Bruce's.
• Aggregated data may be used to improve algorithms.
• Review data is never sold or shared externally.

Moderation and Standards

Bruce may moderate, hide, or remove reviews that violate community or legal standards.

All reviews remain linked to verified users for traceability.

Can You Remove or Hide a Review?

You can:

• Hide a review — removed from public pages, retained privately for fairness and trust calibration.
• Request removal — Bruce will ask for context to prevent abuse or selective deletion.

Businesses that display the Bruce Platinum Badge have completed The Bruce Pledge — a commitment to integrity, fairness, and accountability.

Eligibility

• Only verified businesses affiliated with supported organizations can qualify.
• The Platinum Badge must be displayed on the business's website and linked to its Bruce profile.

Accountability

• Bruce may review, suspend, or revoke Platinum status at any time to protect community trust.
• Displaying the badge indicates participation in Bruce's highest trust standard — not an endorsement or guarantee of results.

8. Data Security and Retention

Bruce uses encryption and security measures to protect all data.

Information is retained only as long as necessary for matching, trust analysis, and engagement improvement.

Hidden reviews remain stored privately but are excluded from public view.

9. Your Rights

You can:

• Edit or delete your profile
• Hide or remove your reviews
• Request a copy of your data
• Opt out of matches or communications
