The Platinum Badge recognizes businesses that have taken The Bruce Pledge — a commitment to integrity, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service. It signals to customers that a business values trust, transparency, and accountability in every interaction.

How to Earn the Platinum Badge

To receive the badge, a business must complete the following steps:

Add the Bruce.bot logo to their website — ideally beside their other social icons (e.g., Instagram, X, Facebook).

Link the logo to their Bruce.bot business profile page.

Take The Bruce Pledge, agreeing to uphold these three commitments:

  • 💡Remain open to feedback and suggestions.

Maintaining Your Badge

Bruce.bot is built on trust. Businesses that fail to uphold their pledge may have their badge removed — ensuring that the Platinum Badge remains a genuine symbol of reliability and community integrity.

Verified & Trusted = Earned, Not Bought

Unlike paid verification systems, Bruce verification is earned through accountability, not subscription. It's a visible promise that a business stands for the same values as the community it serves.

Eligibility Criteria for the Platinum Badge

To maintain fairness and platform integrity, the Bruce.bot team uses the following eligibility criteria before approving a platinum badge:

  • Complete Profile: Must have a public business profile with accurate contact and service information.
  • Active Engagement: Must have participated in at least one match, introduction, or verified review in the past 90 days.
  • Authenticity: Must represent a legitimate business or professional service.
  • Transparency: Must display the Bruce.bot logo on their website and link it to their Bruce.bot profile.
  • Accountability: Must agree to The Bruce Pledge and uphold it in ongoing conduct.

Eligibility decisions are made at Bruce's discretion to preserve trust and quality across the network.

Loss of the Platinum Badge

In accordance with Bruce's Terms of Service, Bruce may remove or suspend a badge at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Failure to uphold The Bruce Pledge.
  • Misuse or misrepresentation of the badge or Bruce branding.
  • Inactivity or unresponsiveness within the platform.
  • Violations of Bruce's Community Standards or Terms of Service.
  • Actions that may mislead customers or damage community trust.

The badge may also be temporarily removed if a business profile undergoes significant changes (e.g., rebranding, ownership change) until eligibility can be revalidated.

Reinstatement of the Badge

Businesses that have lost their badge may reapply after addressing the reason for removal. Reinstatement is reviewed by Bruce.bot to confirm the business once again meets all eligibility and trust standards.

Program Updates

Bruce may update this program periodically to reflect evolving standards of trust and transparency.

The "Platinum Badge" refers to the platinum symbol displayed on participating business websites and profiles. All program standards and policies are administered by Bruce.
